Phases 1 and 2 complete, Phase 3 under Design

The Philip Griffitts Sr. Parkway, previously known as the Bay Parkway, stretches eastward from State Road 79 to Nautilus Street since the completion of Phases 1 and 2 of the project. Phase 3, currently in the Project Development and Environmental Study and Design component of the project, will begin at Clara Avenue and connect to Chip Seal Parkway.

Phase 1

Phase 1 of the Philip Griffitts Sr. Parkway runs 1.4 miles from State Road 79 to Pier Park Drive and was completed in the summer of 2017.

Phase 2

The second phase of the Philip Griffitts Sr. Parkway is a 2.4-mile connection between the first phase of the project to Nautilus Street.

Phase 3 (current)

Phase 3 of the Philip Griffitts Sr. Parkway will connect the Breakfast Point community from the roundabout at Chip Seal Parkway westward to Clara Avenue and south to U.S. 98.
